Moodle Course Creator, Teacher and Administrator Training
More than 40 topics are covered in video, text and practicals. Just like most other vendors we can just run a training course over one or two days, but few can master Moodle it in that time. Learning to use Moodle is easy but proper Moodle mastery takes regular practice after the course has been completed.
The key to mastering Moodle is practice, practice, practice and the freedom to edit and experiment without interference and free of consequences. A Desktop LMS version is ideal for this.
A Desktop Version is Essential for Sustainable Moodle Training
Whether it's FACE TO FACE or ONLINE TRAINING, we provide each delegate with their own permanent Desktop LMS copy. So that each have their own offline sandbox to edit in, without interference from others. When they have an LMS with unrestricted access, they gain a deeper knowledge of Moodle over an extended period of time and a test site to develop new ideas which can safely be transferred to your online LMS.
How else do you train teachers/course developers in practical Moodle skills when on their online Moodle LMS their role is limited to the course that they've been assigned to and only the administrator can create a new course, add new plugin, etc. etc. How else do you run practical training exercises for a group of editing teachers on the same online course without them interfering with each other’s edits and causing chaos.

A Desktop Version is Essential for Teacher Training
On a conventional online Moodle LMS the role of the teacher is restricted to the course that they've been assigned to. Only the administrator can create a new course, add new plugin, etc. etc. You also can’t run practical training exercises for a group of editing teachers on the same online course without them interfering with each other’s edits and causing chaos. So how do you train the teacher in practical skills?

What is a Course and Creating a Course
What is a Course and Creating a Course
What is a course. A course consists of Learning Resources and Learning Activities, Blocks, Grade Books and Learner Records.
Courses can only be created by the site administrator. The teacher can only edit his course and cannot create a new course. (This is one of the main reasons why our Moodle training has desktop LMS version for each teacher)
